Citizens vie for Clean Elections
There are a lot of initiatives from citizens to protect one votes. I’ve been hearing some creating website just to provide information and profile of candidates. Giant local TV networks have plugged a text messaging and email mechanisms where one can report sculptrous act of candidates. I myself am thinking what I can do for my country.
There are lot of organizations calling for volunteers for the upcoming May 14, 2007 Local Government and Senatorial Elections. One such is, One Voice the are calling for one million volunteers. Sign-up for VforCE: 1 million Volunteers for Clean Elections
I just checked out their website, signup and joined the Yahoo Group. I am not a very vocal person. I can show my support my talking and sharing about the group. And, maybe contribute something.
