Accessing your Desktop Remotely
One nice online tools, we have discovered recently is a secure remote access from LogMeIn
I agree there a lot of similar application out there in the market. But, other requires you to have your own static ip address. It does not allow you to access a desktop in a LAN setup. More, I just need a web browser to access my desktop. And, it’s quite fast! Very minimal lag time, it as if I’m in front of my very desktop.
LogMeIn is useful for troubleshooting PC. You have total access to that remote PC. Uhmm, yes this is also dangerous. Because, intruders can really get hold of your PC. Authentication is via you windows login details. So, It’s wise to change your windows login username and password from time to time.
LogMeIn has free and paid subscription. Setup is easy. You just need to download the LogMeIn application a minimal configuration. And, viola you can start accessing your desktop remotely.
