Last night, me and hubby were invited by Myka’s parents, Raffy and Marilen Magsaysay to celebrate their daughter’s 18th birthday at Seameo Innotech, Commonwealth. Unlike other debuts that I attended, this does not require as to don a formal attire. Instead we went there in our jeans.

Raffy Magsaysay is a business partner of my husband in offering sound editing services to independent films makers as well as commercial film makers. So, it’s not surprising that Raffy family is into music. I’ve watched their daughter Myka performed during Raffy birthday. She indeed is good at playing guitars and singing too.

That night her big day, she decided to make a debut concert. She sang and dance to her guest. It was amazing it’s like an actual concert. After her first intro song, she jammed with her bands. Well, I really had fun. I even felt tears tricking down my cheeks during the father and daughter act. I was so touched.
