It’s been a long time since I attended a PINOYJUG meeting. PINOYJUG stands for Pinoy Java User Group. The organization was founded a couple of java programmers way back in November 2001. Since year 2001, we’ve been organizing offline meetings to help fellow java programmer.
What will you do if a regular customer request you to over-price the goods so he can bill his company? For instance, our service of audio transfer is only P200/CD. The customer was asked by his boss to transfer the cassette tape a total of 150 tapes to CD. We’ve given that customer a discount from P200/CD to P150/CD. Now, he asked us to place P200/CD on the official receipt.
I hate computer virus and spywares! - Well who doesn’t? My computer lately is so sloowww. And,it seems maker of anti-virus and anti-spyware program can’t cope up with new virus and spywares. Every now and then, you’ll see new virus and spyware popping up. Normally, I would just format my laptop. Troubleshooting before was a breeze, just install an anti-virus program and you’re done. Virus removed. Now, it’s getting more complicated.
Yesterday, I went to Batangas Port to have a meeting with some Montenegro Shipping Officers. We talked about the computation of vehicle fare using the RORO. A couple of years ago, they where charging according to wheels. But, Pinoy knows hows to make a four-wheel Jeepney that very long but has four wheels only!
Last night, we revisited Lau Chan Hotpot at Mabini St, Malate. It has been out favorite among all the Hotpots we’ve tried. Lau Chan’s Sate Soup was what kept us coming back. The soup was very tasty unlike other Hotpot. Plus, the price are also reasonable.
