Stuck in traffic… Flag downed by MMDA… Meet new Business associates… Car towed at Makati…

Arrghh…. I just knew that my day isn’t right. I woke up early (I’m a night person, my normal wake up time is 11AM:) ) for a 10AM appointment at PGH. Just when I hit Quezon Ave. at 830 I notice that traffic not moving. Especially, approaching Mayon area… traffic moving so slow and the normally 30mins with traffic drive from Quezon Ave Edsa to Mayon took me 1hour.. Just when I made a turn going towards Morayta I notice that there’s a rally. Gish! it’s already 945.. I texted my staff to call my contact at PGH that I’ll be late. Good that my contact at PGH is willing to wait for me until 11AM. Next, upon reaching Morayta…. I can’t pass through to make a turn at Recto.. police… firemen blocked the area. Perhaps preventing rallyist from going to Malacanang. So, I have no choice but to make a detour at Quiapo… upon reaching Roxas Blvd.. I was flagged down by MMDA. Told that I’m on the left turn lane…. I’m really really late… I arrived at PGH 1130AM

Next, I was scheduled to give a talk/presentation at Digitalfilipino 20th networking event. The venue is at Makati Sports Club…. I parked my car along the road.. as the slot at the sports club are full. So, I talked/presented at the club and met new business associates… Then, it struck me… 5pm - I have to move my car or risked being towed! I immediately left the board room where the event is taking place to go to my car. Guess what! my car is no longer there. There’s just a chalk written on the pavement.. plate no ZAM616 Yakal St.. :(( I just knew it, this is not my day!

I would like to profusely thank my good friend Ms. Janet Toral.. (you know I really appreciate you accompanying me and also….. ) Janet went with me to Yakal St. to claim my car…. Well, after claiming my car we decided to have dinner at a nearby restaurant and had a chance to bond.
