Recently, I’ve been busy updating our online shopping mall - virramall.com and my ebay.ph listings.
Then, when I checked my email I received a newsletter from xend.com.ph announcing their partnership with PC-TIPID
Curious. I clicked on the link and found an interesting site. The site allows users to post item for sale or post look for item. I eagerly signed up. And start uploading my products. Here’s my product listings.
PC-TIPID.com combined a lot of features from different successful websites like ebay.com and friendster. Have not thoroughly explored the site yet. But, here’s my notes on what the site has to offer
- users can post item for sale - the site offers a very user-friendly form on uploading your product (item name, upload picture, item description, period of post - upto 1yr, specify if item is new/used/defective, payment details, warranty period
- users can post look for item - (have not tried this yet) - so if you’re looking for something, post it here :p
- users can join discussion thread - topics range anything under the sun, not necessarily pc gadgets or gizomes related. In fact, I’ve seen thread like “where’s the hot spot to pick up girls for one night stand”
- users can link up with other pc-tipid user - this feature is similar to friendster - “PCTIPIDSTER”
- users are given a feedback rating - i think this what made ebay click - building trust among the community
- users can view number of successful shipments done by the seller via xend express
- buyers can view the statistics information on their posted products - like how many times the item are viewed and how many are tracking the products
- users can also send private messages (PM) to each other
Overall, cool site. Kudos to the inceptors! This site looks promising indeed. And, I’m excited and looking forward for business transactions.
