Stations of the Cross at Lourdes Grotto

Posted on April 15th, 2006 in Unsorted by Abby

Every Good Friday, my family visits the Our Lourdes Grotto at San Jose Bulacan to do the stations of the cross. The grotto has life size images depicting the 14 stations.

To get there: along SM Fairview, you will see signs pointing to San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. Just follow the road, you will reach the boundary of Novaliches and San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. A few meters from that point you will see Jollibee and Greenwich at your right side. Turn right to the road in between Jollibee and Greenwich. Straight ahead is the Grotto.

Stations of the cross has been modified several times. But nevertheless, it’s a devotion that allows devotees to reflect about their life. For each station, you will recite a bible passage and a silent prayer.

Check out what the Catholic church says about this Grotto. It was miraculous when the original owner was alive. She was a living miracle from the Grotto in France. But now that her daughter has taken over, the Catholic church has let go of this church. Please pray for the conversion of the new owner.
