First Sale via a Payment Gateway
I have my other website http://www.computerbooks.ph. It’s an online bookstore but the mode of payment is through bank deposit or cash on delivery. So far, I’ve been able to sell some books via that site.
The other day, I blogged about selling PInoy Big Brother Vote Cards which I used the 2CO as payment gateway. Oh yes, I’ve read their rules about Phone Cards. But, I thought this are voting cards and not VOIP prepaid cards. And so, I tried it and made a few sale. But alas, my triumph is short lived. Today, I got an email from 2CO that my account was closed and setup fee refunded plus payments made by customer will be refunded to them. Waaaahhhhh. According to them, selling phone cards/prepaid cards are not allowed. Yikes!
I panicked and emailed my customers about the refund by 2CO and request for another payment via xoom.com.
