Back in college, there was this japanese restaurant that me and my friends frequented. At that time, I don’t recall the name. But, I do remember the MISO RAMEN. Yummy!
Well, for now, I know it’s SHINJUKU! Hubby and me usually frequent their West Avenue branch. There was not in a month that I would crave for their GYUDON and Hubby would crave for EBI CHAHAN. Their price is not that cheap. But, their servings, taste and etc it all worth it.
Too bad, the West Avenue branch closed shop a couple of months ago. Perhaps due to lots of Restos around the area?
Anyway, tonight we decided to eat at Shinjuku - Chino Roces Branch near Makati Cinema Square.
Here’s our fave Shinjuku’s dishes
- Gyudon - They really serve japanese rice not just rice topped with not so thin beef slices, their special sauce, fried egg and flavored ginger.
- Ebi Chan - Japanese Fried Rice with Shrimps. Take note the shrimps are medium size. Hmmm. In between, “sugpo” and “suahe”.
- Gyoza - Fried Dumpling. One of their specialty
- Ebi Tempura - A little bigger that Saisaki’s ebi tempura.
- Miso Ramen - Serve in big big bowl.
