Taking the REB’s Exam

Posted on November 27th, 2005 in Real Estate by Abby

Gish, I just took the Real Estate Broker’s Exam by DTI-BTRCP at PSBA, Quezon City. I don’t know I fared. But, I hope that I pass the exam despite the short period of review.

The exam questions are easy. But, it’s just me. I just started learning and reviewing all about real estate brokerage early this month. So, just imagine me out of nowhere, a programmer/businesswoman, putting all that info about real estate to my “headdisk”.

Oh well, let’s see the exam result on April 2006. Meanwhile, I’ve finally decided to get into the real estate business and help my dad. How’s that combining IT + Business + Real Esate? Hmmm…

Read at Business World about BigFoot threats to pull out of Mactan because the gov’t refused to grant them IT zone.

Gov’t reasoned that it has Cebu Light Industry Park that has not been filled up yet. And too many firms are already enjoying tax holiday.

Company reasoned that the company - International Academy of film and television which is located within the area wants to save on importation on equipment.

According to the article, Big Foot invested $6M in the property. Equipped with soundstages, recording and Foley studios, Dolby certified sound mixing theater and final cut pro editing suites. It also has a dormitory, coffee shop, pool, gymnasium and spa.

I’m sure glad we have a Commission on Human Rights (CHR) who takes the liberty of investigating cases like the “3 suspected carnappers killed by TMG men”. They have look at the situtation constructively. Please check out inquirer’s article.
